About the Air Fryer Converter
Air fryers cook faster and hotter than a conventional oven at the same temperature setting, because they circulate hot air much more aggressively. Using a conventional oven recipe's time and temperature unmodified in an air fryer routinely overcooks or burns the food.
How It Works
The calculator applies the standard air fryer adjustment most manufacturers recommend: drop the temperature by about 25°F (or roughly 14°C) and cut the cook time by about 20%, then shows both the adjusted settings and the original for reference.

Roasting vegetables
A recipe calling for 400°F for 30 minutes in a conventional oven converts to about 375°F for 24 minutes in an air fryer.

Package instructions of 425°F for 20 minutes become roughly 400°F for 16 minutes - noticeably faster than package directions written for a conventional oven.
