How It Works
You enter a single application deadline date. The calculator compares that date to today's date at midnight for both, and reports the number of whole days remaining along with the equivalent number of weeks.
Examples
Early action deadline
If today is August 17, 2026 and the application deadline is November 1, 2026, the calculator reports 76 days remaining, or about 10.9 weeks.
Deadline that has passed
If a student enters a deadline date of July 1, 2026 while checking the calculator on August 17, 2026, the tool reports that the deadline has passed rather than a negative day count.
