How It Works

A 500-mile round trip normally taken by car, for example, would have produced 500 x 0.404 = 202 kg of CO2, and skipping it with a video call avoids that full amount. Multiply by the number of separate trips avoided to get a cumulative total, and divide the total by that count to see the average per-trip savings.
